New Surge Field Hockey Families

We have some updated information about our new club.  Currently, we are calling it Surge, however, we are looking to change the name of the club.  We went with Surge to get things going but would like a lot of input on a future name.

After speaking with our coaches, we would like to push back the start week of the program to Monday, May 14th from 7:30-9:00 for all programs.  When we decided that this is something we wanted to do, we failed to realize 2 things.  Our coaches are coaching spring sports and don't get our each day until 6:00-7:00.  We also failed to realize that we have a LOT of players doing spring sports.  We need to try to accommodate everyone.

For those that have already signed up and paid, you will get 5 full weeks for FREE!!  We decided that we will push the start time of the summer session up to June 14th.  This will allow the spring sports athletes to join and not too late.  After speaking with the coaches, they want to get started right after the spring sports season with all the players and waiting until the 20th will be a bit late...especially if we decide to take the Jr.s to some college showcases.  So, if players choose to sign up for the summer session and they sign up and pay now, they get free sessions until we get all players back.

Pat Kennedy from CNS varsity team and Kate Sergi from ESM varsity team will run the sessions to start and we are hopeful the Liverpool, Baldwinsville and FM coaches will also be involved for sessions.  The coaches from these schools will have a lot of input on the design of our programs.
